Built on the floor,
not in a meeting room.

This was not drawn up by a consultancy that had read about operations. I built it while standing in it every day.

The idea arrived mid-shift. Working as a service assistant in surgical operations at one of Denmark’s largest hospitals, I ran into the same thing over and over: the procedure existed, but never where I was standing, and never in the moment I needed it. The answer sat buried in a document system or in a binder in an office — and mid-task, hands full, with a room that has to be ready, there is no time to find a PC, click through folders and skim forty pages for the three lines that matter.

So in practice the answer became a guess, a call to someone more experienced, or “the way we usually do it”. Not because anyone was careless, but because the distance between the document and the hand that needed it was too great at the moment it counted.

I built Videns-assistent to close that gap: a system where someone asks in their own words and gets an answer in seconds, always citing document, section and revision date (the three steps). Not another chatbot that guesses, but a tool that answers only from the organisation’s own approved documents — and admits it when the answer is not there.

That is why it is built differently from the large platforms: for people wearing gloves, not people at desks. For a phone mid-shift, for shared PCs on the floor, for workplaces where the answer has to be right the first time. How access, sources and GDPR are handled is set out under security, and the assistant can be tried directly.

Since then the prototype has grown into a platform that can serve several organisations at once.

If you have questions, or just want to think something through without booking anything, write to me directly.
